Elzaan Cothill is a Counselling Psychologist who provides both assessment and psycho-therapeutic services. She is particularly interested in the assessment of scholastic difficulties in children and adolescents, developmental concerns (0-6 years), and career concerns in children (school-readiness), adolescents (subject choice and career decisions) and adults (career change and development).
Elzaan also has a special interest in working with children (play therapy) and adolescents who face various emotional, psychological and social difficulties (including abuse, bullying, relationship problems, attachment, ADHD, autism, learning disorders, low self-esteem, sexuality and gender, eating disorders, elimination disorders, addiction, adjustment disorders, anxiety, and depression).
Furthermore, adult therapy is provided in the areas of: relationship difficulties (including couple therapy), eating disorders, anxiety, depression, addiction, adjustment, wellness and career counselling.
Although therapy is approached in an integrated and relational manner, each client’s needs are taken into account and discussed in order to collaboratively tailor assessment and therapeutic interventions.
